Zach Miller finally returned home to Chicago on Monday, more than a week removed from a devastating dislocated knee injury that almost cost him his leg.  Miller was rushed to the University Medical Center of New Orleans after the injury where emergency surgery took place.

Fans and players reached out to Miller through a multitude of avenues including all of the New Orleans Saints tight ends visiting Miller in the hospital.  Miller was grateful for the gestures from fans and players alike as well as the care that was provided to him by the staff at UMC.  Miller took to instagram and twitter to share his appreciation.  

Today the Bears placed Miller on injured reserve.  I think I speak for all of us in hoping for a full and speedy recovery.
