Cleveland Browns’ left tackle Joe Thomas has been the highlight of the dismal organization since the team drafted him third overall in the 2007 NFL draft. Since he was drafted, Thomas has not missed a single snap holding the unbelievable streak of playing 10,363 consecutive snaps. With 5:35 left in the third quarter of today’s game against the Tennessee Titans that streak came to an end.
Thomas left the game with a tricep injury and for the first time in his career went to the locker room and was replaced by Spencer Drango. The injury to Thomas is a big blow to a Browns team still trying to develop rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer as they lose a leader on the field and in the locker room.
Thomas will have an MRI on Monday.
